Touro-A Jewish School

Moving to Henderson has been a great move for us. It is still crazy hot here but there are so many great things that have happened that makes the heat not an issue.

Perks-
We live in an awesome ward.
We have made great friends.
Bub loves what he is learning!
Hailey is in preschool and loves it!
Oh yeah, Bub has a new calling, he is in NURSERY!
I'm still at home with the girls!

And another great perk--
Touro is a Jewish school and the students get Jewish holidays as well as the normal holidays off. I love this! I have never paid close attention to the Jewish holidays until now but I have learned that this time of year there are a couple. YEah, we will get to have Bub home more often. Bub had this last Friday off so we had a game night with some friends. I was tons of fun!

Oh yes and my favorite perk ever-
Bub has a class called osteopatic manipulation (something like that). Anyway, he comes home and gets to practice on me and Hailey! We love it, it's basically like an awesome massage!

$GAS$

I was collecting some garbage from my car while filling it up with gas when I started to hear gas dripping on the cement. All I could think about was, "Oh no, there goes my money!" I hurried over to the gas hose and pulled it out of my car and gas continued to shoot out of the hose at full blast. I thought maybe the handle was stuck, so I squeezed the handle but the handle was completely loose. I pushed every button I could see to get the gas to stop coming out of the hose but on and on it came. A very nice guy was on his way back to his car when he heard me yelling, "Help, I need some help." He came over asking if the lever was stuck and he tried everything to get it to stop. He handed the hose back over to me and he ran up to the gas station building and pushed the emergency shut off button. Yeah, the gas finally stopped. It seemed like it was going on forever which I think it had because now there was a small river of gas from me all the way to the building and down the gutter. The gas station lady came out asking the guy what he thought he was doing then she looked down and saw the river and started freaking out. She started to put up cones so nobody could come into the gas station to fill up, not like it would matter now that the gas had all been shut off. Then my nice helper started yelling, "Nobody light up, nobody light up." Anyway, it was pretty exciting and I was covered in gas meanwhile Mia is crying in the car and Hailey is screaming, "I need to pee let me out!" We are safe, got all our money back and got a free car wash! YEah!!!!

Take me out to the ball game.

We went to watch the Las Vegas 51's baseball game with the Longenecker's. We had cotton candy, drinks and yes, peanuts. It was so much fun! Thank you Longenecker's for the tickets, we had so much fun hanging out with you.

Sorry about the belly shot.
Hailey loves hanging out with Jaden and Alissa (her cousins). Alissa and Hailey being silly while eating a yummy treat!
The girls and I went to Utah this last week while Bub had his first block (test) week. We got to sleep over at Cam and Addy's and we had so much fun. Hailey and Rio played with babies all night and the next day. Rio saw me with my nursing cover on while I was feeding Mia then the next thing I saw was cute Rio with the cover around her neck and she was holding a baby. It was pretty funny but really she was just wrapping her baby up in a blanket that goes around your neck? :)
My Mom and Dad teach temple prep and family relations class at a singles ward. I went to listen to the lesson and was a little out of place with my Mia. Anyway, my Mom and Dad are awesome teachers!
My Mom got to drive back to Henderson with me and it was 15 times better to have her there. She drove the whole way while I took care of the girls! Thanks for all your help Mom!

Awww, So scared!

Cute little Mia was sleeping so well. So, I pulled out my camera to snap a picture of my sleeping beauty. I got right above her when all of the sudden, BAM, her eyes popped open and all she saw was a camera in her face. Yeah, I think she was a little scared.
Mia is three months old today! Time did not go by this fast when she was in my belly. My girl is growing so fast and she has to most awesome thigh rolls that we all just love to pinch. We love pinching her cheeks too, her face cheeks that is.

Her personality has totally burst out of her this last week. She is such a smily girl and loves to talk. Oh and she is very ticklish. Bub can get her to giggle when he tickles her. Super cute!

3 months old!
I am so in love with my girls and we have been having a lot of fun getting to hang out over the last 3 months.

Super Girl!

Hailey loves to pretend she is a super hero. She keeps on telling us she doesn't need a seatbelt because she is a super hero. This is a fight she never wins!
It gets so windy and stormy here. We had a scary lightning storm on Sunday and Hailey dressed up in some awesome clothes with her cape and was Super Hailey. I thought she was going to fly away, her cape was all over the place. She felt totally cool!

Hailey got her hair cut! She looks so cute and her hair is so much easier to do. I love it and she loves it too! She keeps asking if she can have purple (her favorite color) hair. Scary, I know!

Yeah so this is what I do with Hailey while I'm feeding Mia. Seriously, Mia is there, just not in the picture thank goodness. Hailey seems to feel a little left out during this time, so we take pictures.

Dress UP!

My Cute Mia is getting so big. She is starting to talk, well babble. She also makes cute faces!
Hailey wanted Mia to play dress-ups. I'm not so sure she really liked it.
My cute girls playing dress-ups!

All kinds of fun!

Bub's brother Ryan and his family were sealed in the Las Vegas temple. It was one of the coolest experiences I've ever been able to be a part of. We love you guys! This is a picture of all the grand kids with G&G Longenecker.
My parents and sister came to Las Vegas and helped us get settled and watched the girls while Bub and I were able to go to the temple. Thanks so much for your help and support. We love you guys! My sister wanted to go to the strip and see the water show. (That is what is behind us)

We have now been in Henderson for 1 1/2 weeks. It really is a nice place and has it's own kind of beauty. We already miss the mountains and the nice night breeze. It gets pretty windy here but it doesn't cool you down it just feels like a heater is blowing right in your face. Anyway, when we moved in we had our internet, phone, and cable hooked up. The cable guy was black which Hailey must of thought was pretty weird. Why? Well, 1 week later I took her to this cool park with water toys everywhere. And the best part is that it's all free. I guess that is the kind of parks you get when it's over 100% consistently. Anyway, I was telling Hailey that we needed to get some sunscreen on. And this is how it went down.
Hailey: I hate sunscreen
Me: Hailey, you need it so you don't get burned.
Hailey: Pointing to some families around us says, " Okay, I don't want the sun to burn me and turn me black like that guy who came to our house and like all of those people huh?"
Me: spraying the sunscreen on and totally embarrassed, "Okay, now go play with your little friend."

Who is LDS in Las Vegas?

If any of you want to find out who is LDS in Las Vegas, well all you have to do is borrow Hailey and take her to the store with you.
I took the girls to Target ( a nicely air conditioned building) and Hailey started singing "I am a child of God" at the top of her lungs. I was trying to get her to quiet down as people were looking at us really weird. Then some nice lady with some kids of her own smiled at me and said, " Oh how cute, she must be in Primary." It was kind of weird how reassuring it was to know that that lady was LDS too and that she thought Hailey's singing in a store was cute instead of odd like the others who were annoyed by the loud singing.

GETTING OUR MOVE ON!

The time has come. We are actually leaving our tiny apartment and moving to Nevada! Bub got into Medical school so we are off to a new adventure. We have lived in our little place for 5 1/2 years and we have accumulated so much stuff. It was so nice to declutter. We loved Logan and all of our friends who live there.

Here are some pictures from the 24th of July. Pioneer day is a lot of fun in Logan and we got to spend it with cousins and friends! We love you guys and will miss you a ton!

Oh so Feminine!

You would think that having 3 girls and only 1 boy in a home would make your home nice and sweet and full of fun experiences. Well my experience just the other day was anything but dainty. Hailey has some weird fascination where she like to watch Mia get her diaper changed. So, I was changing Mia's diaper and I was just about done when she sneezed. And what comes out at the same time? Poop. Yep, she got it all over me, not just my clothes but my arms too. Anyway, Hailey starts gagging like crazy and I was trying to tell her to get out of the room- then Hailey decides to throw up! Yes that was on me too!

Wow, there is nothing like being a Mom, but I truly love it!

The need for speed!

When ever we are driving with Hailey in the car she is always telling us to go faster. She loves to go fast! So the other day, Hailey said, " faster go faster Mom." Of course I was going as fast as I can without getting pulled over. Then Hailey says, "Mom, I have a great idea. Just go super fast when there is not a police man and when you see one, then you can go slow.-k- So, I don't see one so go fast now!

She always has these great ideas!

July is Fantastic!

July just screams summer which is why I think it is the greatest month out of the whole year! We had a family reunion at good old Bear Lake. Yes, the water was freezing but we enjoyed making sand castles and spending time with Bub's family as well as my parents.
Our cute Mia was blessed at my parents home with our family and friends around. It was such a great blessing and we loved having people we love to be there. Thanks for everyone's support.
Woops, This picture is in the wrong spot. Anyway, Bub and Logan made an awesome sand castle at Bear Lake.
Bub with his girls at a 4th of July cook out! Yes, we were all wearing jackets because it had been raining and supper windy. We still saw fireworks that night! Bub and Hailey also got to go to the Real soccer game and Hailey was so excited to see fireworks that night too.
Poor Hailey. She was playing with an exercise rubber band and it snapped at her right on the lip. I thought she needed stitches but bub did some work on her and now you can not even see a scar. Promise!
Hailey wanted me to paint her fingernails and I told her to hold still so her fingers could dry. Yep, she fell asleep. I put her to bed after I took this picture-promise!
We love Tony's Grove, it is so beautiful! We took Bub's brother, Logan, to hike around the little lake. He took this picture for us! Man we are going to miss Logan and Logan canyon when we move.
Cute Hailey!
Me and my girls!

Like I said I love July!
