Bub and I thought that during family scripture time yesterday we should talk with Hailey, (and Mia but she does not really listen,) about telling the Truth vs. Lying. Hailey girl tells little lies all day long. They don't hurt anyone, I think she tells them for shock value when telling stories-haha she is a funny girl. Anyway after a good 10 min talk we thought she totally had telling the truth down pat. The end of our conversation went like this......
Me: Heavenly Father always knows if you are telling the truth or not.
Hailey: Yeah, cause HE sees everything that happens; just like Santa, the elves, and Leprechauns.
Conclusion-I guess the TRUTH can be confusing when your Mom and Dad tell you that Santa's elves are always watching:)
Hailey has learned about fiction vs. Non-fiction. Last night she wanted to tell us the story of Jona and the Whale. The story started with Once upon a time...... and ended with "Jona lived happily every after.
Oh man, this girl makes me laugh every day!
"Life isn't about getting through the storms, it's about learning to dance in the rain."

Awwww Yeah!

A new soccer season has begun and the Longenecker home is super excited. Hailey is playing for a new team, it is an all girls team called THE BUMBLE BEE'S. Hailey has a bumble bee-Pillow Pet so of course she is super excited. Today was her first game and she scored two goals! It was so much fun getting to be outside in beautiful weather and watching my girl play and have fun. Keep up the good work Hayhay.
Love Every Moment

Wow-life is amazing! You know when you have those days when life is good, you feel on top of the world, you are just having fun with your hubby and babies? Well, I love those days. The last few days we have not been feeling so good or on top of the world-yet I feel so so blessed! I know my Heavenly Father loves me because he has given me the opportunity to love my husband, to know what TRUE LOVE is. Bub has not been feeling on top of the world- poor guy:( During this time- I have realized how important my family is to me and to cherish the NOW, our every day lives and to never wish moments would go by more quickly. I feel so crazily blessed with great friends, who are our family to us-we are so lucky. We have family who are always supporting and praying for us. I feel surrounded by God's love and I am so thankful for that!

Time to Say Good Bye
We had to say goodbye to the Jeep yesterday. Bub and Hailey both wanted to cry. I cried too but because I was so excited to get a Honda Odyssey. This morning I took Hailey to school in the Odyssey and she sat in the back and yelled, " Mom can you even hear me from back here, this is awesome." So much fun!Sunday, February 6, 2011
San Diego
My parents took us to San Diego for Christmas. We stayed in a beach house on Mission bay and the view was heavenly! People thought we were crazy, playing on the beach wearing summer clothes and thinking it was warm, but we sure had fun! Look at Hailey's smile-seriously- she was the happiest girl in the world!
This beachy area was right outside our door to the beach home. SOOOOOO FUN! Now we just need to do this again in the summer time:)
Many hours were spent just hanging out, we really did not have any plans but just to spend time together.
We played Frisbee and soccer in the sand.
There was a fun playground right their too-I'm telling you-it was awesome!2 Months Later

Okay so, time to catch up! Christmas was so much fun-my family came down from Utah Christmas Eve and we had Christmas morning at our new place all together! The best part was watching Mia and Hailey, they were so excited. On Christmas Eve night, we were all hanging out when Hailey looked at us and said, " You guys are crazy, I'm going to bed so I can get presents in the morning, I hope Santa does not see you all awake." And then she went right to bed. It was awesome.
Christmas morning-so fun!
Good morning girls!
We were really good this year!
You all know that snow from the North Pole does not melt, not even in the desert. Santa's sleigh tracks and foot steps were right outside our door.

I was just so excited!

Here are just a few pictures-more to come! I love having friends who are awesome at photography! We went to this really cool ghost town to take these pictures-tons of fun!I have been searching for days and days for some of Hailey's old clothes for Mia to use. I found a box full of clothes just Mia's size hidden in our garage. I was sooooo excited. I felt like I just went on a shopping spree and did not spend any money-it was great! So great-that I had totally forgotten what time it was and did not realize Hailey's bus had already passed by to bring her home from school. YEah-I was like 15 min late. I jumped in the car with Mia and drove like crazy-caught up to the bus and found Hailey all sweaty and she said, "Mom, I've been so nervous." Poor girl I felt so bad. So this morning hailey said, "Mom, promise to not forget me today." :(

Soccer Days
Hailey LOVES soccer!!!!! Bub and Hailey practice soccer every day together and then once a week with Hailey's soccer team.
I love watching Hailey and Bub just playing together-they have so much fun playing one on one.
Turns out Hailey is a tough little girl, she is getting torn up (look at her knees) on the field but keeps a smile on her face. This girl has grown almost 3 inches since we have moved to Henderson and is a fast little runner- she is growing up way to fast:(
During Hailey's first soccer game a kid on her team touched the ball with his hands. She was so upset and went straight to the referee to tell him, "Hello, that was a hand ball." Hailey you are hilarious, thanks for being so honest but next time only tell the referee when it is someon on the other team:)Monday, September 27, 2010
Three girls and a guy!
We just celebrated our 7th Anniversary! We got to spend the whole day together, we went hiking at Red Rock (with Mia), went to the temple, dinner and a magic show on the strip. The best part was just getting to hang out with each other.
I love this man-he really is my best friend! We told Hailey that we would not be home until late that night because we were going on a date, and the girl lost it. "A Date, a date, what does that even mean, why can't I come? I don't want to have a babysitter, why do you get to go somewhere with out us. This is dumb." Which just let us know maybe we should plan on dates a little more often-it was great!
Mia loves the outdoors!
These girls are hilarious. Not only do they make me and Bub laugh, they do crazy things, dance moves, funny faces, etc. to make each other fall over with laughter.
Hailey has decided what to be for Halloween. Every day after school this is what Hailey puts on.
Mia loves the camera too, who would have guessed.
Scrub-a-dub-dub.
Hailey started her first season of soccer, and she loves it. She is actually pretty good for a 5 year old. This Saturday is there first game so we will see how it goes. So far, this has been a great sport for our family. We all know Bub played soccer and is a crazy soccer fan, especially for Real Salt Lake. I played soccer too, Bub and I are both left footed and guess what-so is Hailey! Hailey has loved soccer practice and plays hard and then comes home and sleeps great! So, once again-I love that she is playing soccer:)
Hailey's first day of school!
