Up to Date

Bub has finished his first year of medical school!!!!! I am so proud of him, it took a lot of hard work and he did great! He just started a part time job at his school to keep him somewhat busy for the summer!

I turned 27 years old---yikes!

Mia had her first Birthday and we celebrated with some friends and family in Utah. Mia is such a cute girl-she walks, has 4 teeth, and is pretty tall.

Hailey graduated from Preschool and a really cute singing program. The funniest part was Hailey was super nervous, so not like her. (Pictures soon to come.)

We closed on our house and we are painting and getting ready to move in. Hurray!

I am a Mom!

I was at the park the other day with Hailey and Mia. It was getting to be close to leaving time so I walked over to Hailey and I overheard her talking with a little boy. She was talking about ME. So I listened for a little while. Hailey was telling this boy how I take her to the library and that we read books together. She said, "my Mom is not great at cooking so she is teaching me so I can be great at it and now I know how to make orange sandwiches." She said, "when my Dad is not home we like to dance like crazy." And she told this little boy, who actually looked like he was listening- "My Mom has two girls because I am a big sister now and my Mom never knew how hard it would be to take care of two girls. I smiled and thought Hailey has found a great new friend who she can share everything with, because he didn't say a word. Then Hailey said, "And my Mom knows everything, sometimes I think she is wrong but then I find out she was right the whole time. Sometimes she is like magic."

I have to say, I stopped right in my tracks and thought, Holy Cow, I am this girls Mother!!! I know this should not be a surprise to me, seeing that I have been her Mom now for 5 years, but it hit me hard. I'm not just some girl with two kids, I am there Mom, (is that crazy). And then I thought about my Mom, and everything that I have shared with her, and all that I ask her on what to do with my girls, how to make my favorite food :), all kinds of things, and I realized my Mom knows everything too, and if I have ever thought something she said was wrong, it turns out I was wrong and she was right the whole time.

I hope I can be even half of who my Mom is to me, for my girls! The great thing in striving for that, is that I have a great Mom who I can try to be like. I Love You Mom!!!

The happiest place on earth!

Bub just had spring break and we decided to go with some friends to Disney land. We wanted to surprise Hailey and not tell her where we were going. We made it all the way inside of the park and she was still clueless-she had no idea where we were. I asked Hailey where we were and she looked around, and quietly said, " Are we at Disney Land?" And that was it- not big scream or jumping up and down... it was pretty funny. A few minutes later we saw the parade and that is when it hit Hailey, she had a grin from ear to ear!

I have to give it to Disney Land for making an awesome balloon. Two weeks later and this balloon is still floating high in Hailey's room. Good thing too it was the most expensive balloon I have ever bought!
I was so proud of both my girls they really were great the whole trip! We all had a blast and I think we went on every single ride we wanted to thanks to stroller passes and fast passes we hardly ever stood in a line. It was great!

Hailey really was kind of scared of the characters. She was being super brave to get her picture with Woody.

Awww, Hailey loves Jake! Hailey keeps on asking when we get to go on another trip with Jake. And look at the Dad's they did great too- they did not cry to much on this trip either. :)
Cheese... Thanks for the fun time!
Hailey got drenched on Splash Mountain! Don't let her sad face trick you- she loved it!
Hailey is amazing! I always knew she was a brave girl but this girl went on every ride. She went on the Tower of "Tere" (she thinks its cool because it's named after her Grandma). Anyway, she went on this two times, she went on Indiana Jones and every ride that scared me. She is super brave!
My True Love
Mia is making her Grandma face in this picture. I love it!
My sweet girl!
Hailey and Jake having a great day!
We had a great time- it was so nice to spend time together as a family!

Easter!

I wanted to get a cute picture of the girls in there new Easter dresses! This is what I got!

Swimming time already!

A Hailey Funny
Hailey: Mom, you know how our village is the USA?
Me: yeah!
Hailey: Well, did you know Heavenly Fathers village is heaven?

Hello...

This is Hailey's leprechaun trap!
Mia makes the funniest old grandma faces. You know like Grandma's who have lost their teeth!
Sorry these pictures are not the greatest, they were done on my phone. But we found an awesome Mexican Restaurant. We still miss our Mi Ranchito in American Fork.

I have been horrible at updating our blog. I love checking everyone's blogs and love that they are updating them but then I forget to do mine. Oops! Anyway, we are doing good. So much has happened since my last post. My Mom came to visit and help watch the girls as I started my new job. Yes, I am working again and so far its a pretty good deal. Umm, we bought ourselves a home. We are not living in it yet but come summer we will make the switch. I am super excited about this, and we have our family and friends to thank. Everyone has been so awesome in helping us watch our girls while I work! Thank you thank you thank you!!! St. Patrick's day was so fun. I honestly have never liked this holiday. My grandma would come visit us at school dressed as a leprechaun. This was not just in elementary people- I'm talkin High School too. Anyways, Hailey was really good at making sure everyone had green on. She was pretty concerned that a leprechaun might come around and pinch someone. So, she set up a leprechaun trap. It had a string cheese and some coins, because they love pots of gold! She is so funny!

1+1=4

What do I love most? Cuddling with my babes- Bub, Hay, and Mia! I love this picture! I know some of Mia's toes are hiding but I love it anyway! We had a picture just like this when we lived in Logan without Mia so it had to be updated.
It has been beautiful outside so the girls and I went to a county museum. It reminded me a lot of Utah history museums with old homes to walk through and trains to climb on. Anyway, we all had fun being outside and Hailey got to run around so it was great!

What is her arm doing? Such a little posing queen!
Imagine that, Hailey found a horse. She is our horse girl.
Today I decided to finally get my camera out and shoot. I don't know why but I haven't done this in a really long time. I forgot what I was missing-I love taking pictures. I think the break did Hailey good because she was coming up with all sorts of poses and places to take pics. Yeah-I'm going to have to take advantage of this.
My little Mia. This girl loves to be outdoors. She really is a good girl anyways but you will never see her cry if she is out under the sky.

I love flowers! Thank you Bub!

New Names

So I was driving somewhere in Vegas totally lost when Hailey had this conversation with herself... which is funny anyway!

"Mom we should make new names. Your name can be Caring because you take care of your girls. My name will be Loving because I love all of the animals. Mia's name can be.... hmmmmmmm.....

Noisy- cause she's such a stinkin' loud cutie pie!"

Oh wow, I love this girl!

Not one but two!

I think she needs needs bigger pj's.

So I was sitting in sacrament meeting today when I realized Mia has two teeth! The cute girl went to bed last night with nothing but gums and a tongue in her mouth and today-two teeth! Crazy!

We have been having some seriously beautiful sunsets. Every night Hailey looks outside and lets me know when she spots a sunset. I guess Nevada does have some beauty!

From the mouth of a 5 year old!

I found Hailey hiding in a corner making a funny face-not a good thing. So I asked her to go to the bathroom and then she told me she needed to tell me a secret. Once the secret was told, I explained to Hailey that I think she is constipated. She thought about it for a while and then said, "Mom you know what I think is happening? I'm getting my super powers, yeah I'm so excited!!!"

Wow this girl keeps me laughing every day.

So Cold and Fun!

Our little Hailey is five and not so little anymore. She is a kid- nothing toldler about her. She can even carry Mia while standing up. Hailey goes to Preschool, is always on the go, and makes us smile and laugh every day!

Happy Birthday Hailey!

Fun at the kids museum!

Hailey and some kids from her preschool went to a nursing home and sang some holiday tunes. The kids wore these cute elf hats that they made. Hailey is a lover! She loves everyone and everything- which is why she says she does not eat animals (except fish)! So, naturally Hailey gave hugs to a bunch of the elderly and told them Merry Christmas!
Hailey wanted to go to Chucky Cheese for her birthday! So we partied it up with Chucky Cheese, with Hailey's cousins and aunt and uncle. We all had so much fun, but I think Bub and his brother Ryan had the most fun there!
Making birthday wishes!
We went to Utah for Christmas and we had so much fun! We made gingerbread houses, went to see the Salt Lake Temple lights, went to Timp Temple, hung out with friends, went to a family reunion, went to a concert, and had a wonderful white Christmas!

The girls in there new PJ's and Bub on Christmas Eve!
"Hailey, is that Santa"s foot steps?" Oh yes, it is! The footsteps are made of "special snow". It never melts!:)

So fun yet sooooooooo cold! Hailey was so tired and kept falling asleep so did what we had to and bungee cord her to the stroller. It was pretty funny!

I loved having a white Christmas but wow, we froze in Utah! I never remember it being so cold in Utah. Thank goodness we were not in Logan! We went to see the Salt Lake Temple lights with my family and Liza's boy. My Mom is taking the picture.

Long lost friends together again!
We had a family gathering on the Wilson side of my family. Hailey and Jonas got to play together again and it was so fun to watch these two just pick up and play as if they have never missed a day playing together. Hailey misses Jonas so much and she had so much fun sledding, playing games, and of course being silly and crazy with Jonas!

I love this picture too. My Dad and Mia! Mia loved playing Peek-a-boo with my Dad over Christmas. She would laugh her belly laugh, it was so funny!
