11 Inches Gone

On our last trip to Utah we decided to go to the salon and get some hair cuts.  The plan was to get Hailey's bangs trimmed and Mia had been begging for a hair cut for months.  So we went and while Hailey was sitting there she had a change of plans.  She decided she was cutting he hair off and giving her hair to another little kid who didn't have any hair.  So it happened and she is loving the short hair- maybe a little to much. She will put her hand by her hair and say, " So so cute, so so cute."  Hailey is so brave and was happy to get her certificate of appreciation from Locks of Love.

Bub's 3rd year of Medical School is shortly coming to a close.  Right now Bub is thinking he will specialize in either Family medicine or OB/GYN.  Bub's OB/GYN rotation is during May.  Hopefully by the end of May, Bub will be ready to finalize his decision on what he wants to do. Before we know it Bub will be applying to residencies, doing away rotations, and interviews.  And in about 11 months we will know where we will be moving for residency.  Lucky for us, Bub is going to an OB/GYN conference in San Diego in 2 weeks and we are going to tag along.  We have some friend who are going to, so we will get some much needed relax time on the beach and hopefully Sea World too. Bub has also been coaching Hailey's soccer team and the soccer girls love him.

Mia is my girl.  She love to cuddle with me-if I could I would hold her all day.  She wants to grow up so badly and ride on a yellow bus and go to school with a hello kitty backpack.  She is a funny girl-she makes me laugh everyday.  We will be signing her up for Preschool for sure, she is so ready.

I am loving being at home with my two girls.  I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to do this right now.  I can't seem to get enough time with them as life just gets so crazy and the girls are getting big so fast.  I have been dealing with a few different health problems and am currently recovering from gallbladder surgery.  I am so glad to get that awful thing out of me.  Bub has been by my side through everything and is very supportive of what I am going through and what it in turn means for our family.  He is always by my side- lifting me up, going to the temple with me, helping me smile.  He is so good to say, " It is all going to work out!"  He is my strength, my friends and family on both sides of the veil are my strength, my Savior is my strength.  I am so blessed!

Spring Break in Beautiful Utah

We got to go to Utah for Spring Break and we had a lot of fun!
4 Years ago on Easter Sunday we ate dinner and sang songs at my Dads bedside at the hospital.  He had just been diagnosed and was recovering from surgery.  I remember him talking about how much he loves Easter and about his testimony of our Savior.  It was a good day as we celebrated our saviors resurrection together.
This Easter was very special to us all.  The importance of the Saviors resurrection is such a blessing in our lives and I think about it often.  We decided to celebrate again as we released 12 balloons with notes up into the sky.  It was a good moment.
We got to meet my newest nephew- Knight Longenecker on our trip to Utah.  Grandma Sandra was also visiting Knight, so we got lucky and we were able to spend time with her too.

My cousin Joseph Wilson and his sweet wife Laura and Daughter Ryan were sealed in the Logan Utah Temple too.  We got to take an awesome trip up to our old stomping grounds- Logan, Utah.  We got to go to the temple, the sealing was beautiful.  We got to visit old friends and spend the night at a hotel with Bub, the girls, Grandma Tere and Eliza.  SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUN!!!!!

Another happy moment happened in our family this weekend. My little sister got engaged to a great guy, Brad.  I am so happy for these two who are sooooooo cute together.  That will make 3 weddings in 1 year- busy year for everyone, especially my Mom.

Hailey had a dance show for St Patricks Day and Mia wanted to be a part of it so bad:)
It is hard to get both girls to look in one place for long:)  My sweet girls loved Easter at Grandma Tere's home.
