Till We Meet Again!

My sweet Grandma Teresa is the sweetest lady I have ever known. We were never great at talking with each other because I was never good at speaking Spanish. Our language barrier never got in the way of my Grandma Teresa letting me know that she loved me. Although we were only able to see each other a few times, she left a lasting impression on me on how you should love someone. My sweet Grandma passed away this last week. I have been thinking about the last time I saw my Grandma; it was on my wedding day. My grandparent's made the trip from Mexico to come and be at my wedding. It was great to have my grandma clasp my hands between hers, and give them a kiss and tell me that she loved me, (of course my Grandpa Hector does the same.) That I always knew and will know forever. I have no doubts that she was a great Mom as well, because my Mom has turned out pretty amazing herself. I Love You Grandma, and I am happy to know, I will see you again some day-and maybe at that time, we will be speaking the same language.

Dad's are the best!

To all you men out there who are Dad's-Happy Father's Day!

Now about my Dad. Dad, you are the greatest. I could go on and on about you and all the fun times we have had, and all the great things that you have taught me. I decided thought that I would focus on my very favorite thing about you. I remember being little and whenever I was sad, got hurt, or really happy; you would give me a hug. Your hugs meant told me that you loved me, that you would be there for me, and that you are happy to be my Dad. Today, your hugs are still my favorite thing about you. Thanks for always being there for me. I LOVE YOU!

I feel so lucky to have such a great Dad, and feel so blessed that my girls have an awesome Dad as well. Hailey and Mia adore their Dad, they wrestle, play soccer, and their favorite thing to do is to cuddle with him. Bub has arms that hold our girls safe and secure and they love it. Bub, thanks for being such a good Dad to our girls. Happy Father's Day!

Graduation

Hailey is no longer in Kindergarten-today she graduated. She was so excited for this day, now she is a 1st grader:(
Bub looked over at me and said, "How did we get here, we have a kid in grade school." It is pretty crazy. I feel like Hailey went from 3 years straight to 6 years old.
Hailey is holding a little plant that Mia picked for her.
Mia wanted in on some of the yummy cupcakes and Hailey was good to share. Hailey we are so proud of all the work you did this year in school. You are a great girl and super smart. Thanks for listening to your teachers and getting a green card every day the whole school year-good work girl!

Girls just want to have fun!

I had a birthday too- turn out the mom's that brought their kids to Mia's party are my friends too. So glad I got to spend time with all of you!

Birthday Girl!

We had a small get together with some of Mia's friends for her 2nd Birthday.

We had some yummy ice cream, cupcakes, and cake pops. The kids were in heaven!
Me and my girls!
Say, "CHEESE"
I can't believe Mia is 2, she has grown up into a toddler really fast. She is 36 inches tall and 30 lbs.
I attempted to make some yummy cake pops. It took a lot of work but it was really fun, the girls got to help me decorate them and eat them of course.

This is a picture of a pinata that Hailey made for Mia's birthday. We had no idea she made this-it was a surprise for us all. Turns out it was filled with gold fish and fruit loops.

Happy Birthday Mia Girl-We Love YOU!!!
