Longenecker Time in Michigan!

Jaymes, Emma, and Aiyana came to visit us over the 4th of July.  We had a ton of fun with them.  We went to 2 different Metro Parks and played on the beach, pools, kayaks, playgrounds, mini golf and sand castle making.  It was a blast.

Hailey loved this girl.  She would have held her forever if she could have.

Details- those are important.  Good job Mia.

The girls were having a castle making contest.  It was Jaymes and Mia againt Hailey.  I think Hailey won the most amazing castle and Mia won the coolest castle.

We were all so happy that Bub got to come with us on day 2 of our exploring the Metro Parks.  Bub, the girls and I rented a canoe and went out on a little adventure.

The Crew

This is the face of a little girl that is so happy but so nervous at the same time.  I am so grateful Aunt Emma caught this picture of Mia.  I could just hug this girl forever if she would let me.

Haha-same face.  "I'm trying to smile but I have butterflies in my stomach."  Hailey is our adventurous and curious girl.  She is up for anything even if she is scared.  Hailey went out later with Uncle Jaymes and Aunt Emma on a paddle boat and they all jumped off of it into the water.  Hailey loved it.

These girls make me laugh out loud.  They are trying to be brave but look at their cute faces.

LOVE

This little monkey thinks this is the coolest park ever.  It probably is.  Hailey will play on here for hours if we let her.

Me, Emma, and Kristen.  It was awesome to see Kristen again.  We had just seen her in Missouri and we got to see her again in Michigan.  It was so fun to spend time with family.

Our most prized time-Together

WE LOVE THE FALL SEASON!!!

Bub's Birthday! It is time to celebrate.

Bub is officially 32 years old.  We only had one candle but that is probably the safe thing to do now anyway.  Haha.  The girls and I made Bub some delicious cheesecake and the girls did the wrapping for Bub's present, it was beautiful.

We sang Happy Birthday and right at the end both the girls thought they would help Bub blow out that one candle.  They were trying to be patient while he made his birthday wish.

Bub got some treats, a book written by President Monson Titled consider the Blessings, body wash and a Chealsea soccer jersey.

Bub and I got to go on a date for his birthday.  We have been on the quest for some good Mexican food but it has been hard to find in these areas.  We decided to journey down to Mexico town in Detroit and we are glad we did.  We found some good food for a good price and finally our Mexican Food craving was satisfied.  Bub agreed to let me take a picture just as long as I didn't tell the waiter that it was his birthday.

Just across the corner from where we ate we found a Mexican bakery and we were happy.

Here we are in Michigan

The Longenecker's made it to Michgan safe and sound. It was a long trip getting here but it was full of family visits and sight seeing so we enjoyed most of it. Bub did have insane allergies while we were in Navoo.  His memories of Navoo are not the greatest but that is because he couldn't see or breath well while we were there. We will have to go back another time and try it out again. I so many pictures that I want to put on here from our trip and all summer but my camera is missing a loading station that I still am hoping to find.  Here are a few of the pictures from my IPad.

I can not stop time. I have tried but no matter what I do our girls keep on growing up.  So here are a bunch of pictures from this summer with many more to come.

On our way to Michigan we stopped in Missouri to see the Zabriskies (cousins) and Grandma Sandra and Aunt Kristen were there too.  We were so glad we got to spend time with all of them and hope that we will see them soon again.
Bub and Hailey are up in that big yellow truck.  My Mom, Mia and I were in the Van following Bub and Hailey for most of our trip to Michigan.  The girls and I did take turns getting to ride in the big truck.  It was a treat to get to be with Bub.
We made it to Michigan just in time for the 4th of July festivities.  The 4th of July is right up there on my list of favorite holidays so I am glad we got to see fireworks and enjoy the night with Bub and our friends the Bruners.  The girls were cheering for the fire works to start.
Justin and Bub are putting up a fence to keep the bunnies out of our future garden.
My Mom was able to help us drive all the way to Michigan and stay with us for a while. We are so sad that she just can't stay here forever.

Jaymes, Emma, Aiyana, and Kristen came to visit for the 4th of July weekend.  I loved having them and seeing our cute niece.  Obviously the girls were all over Aiyana.  Hailey would have held her in her sleep if we would have let her.

Hailey has been practicing her roller bladding this summer and she is getting pretty good.

I was pretty nervous about this but the girls wanted to stand on this lookout area buy a river and they thought it was so cool.

These girls keep me on my toes and love having fun together.

This is our cute old white brick home.  It is old but we are making it our own and it is growing on us.

Our tomatoe plants are growing.  We are almost ready to harvest the rest of our garden and we have had so so many tomatoes.  I love it!

Can you see that cute pepper?  It just grew and we picked a bunch of them and made some yummy salsa.

The girls are loving this summer.  Hailey keeps on saying, " This is the best summer ever.  We get to play outside and we have real grass."  Haha- we have been amazed that things just grow here.

This is our ugly playroom downstairs that we have now painted and put carpet in so it is much more pleasant for the girls to play in.
Hailey worked hard and saved her money.  Then she wanted to go to Build-a-bear workshop and get this cute puppy with her very own money.  She is feeling happy and proud.
Sunday puzzle time.
My sweet girls are getting their check-ups for school.
Hailey, Mia, and Brynley are having a spa day at home.

We found this awesome farm that my girls just love.  There is this fun playground, lots of animals, we pack a lunch and watch the cows get milked.  It has been fun.  Sometimes I think Bub should quit being a OBGYN dude and be a ranch dude.  Just kidding, we will just visit the ranch.
